It is our great pleasure to invite all our members to join us for our Eurocord Annual Meeting 2023. Event exclusive to members of Eurocord - If you are not a member, please contact us, you can join us as invited non-member.

After a successful joint convention in Vienna, we hope to repeat the success by offering you a warm, friendly, and exciting setting in one of the most beautiful regions in Europe. Should you feel tempted to stay for an extra couple of days, the area has plenty of options for restaurants, tours, walking, cycling, and beaches offering clean water and a possibility to go swimming in the lake.

We are excited to welcome you in Italy!!

MEETINGS AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES   

One day and a half of meetings, the program involves the General Assembly, the Working Groups, Technical and Subcommittee Meetings, Member Presentations and Business Speakers. The full program of the meetings will be released in May. The registration fee includes admittance to all meetings, coffee breaks on Monday and Tuesday, lunch on Monday and Tuesday. The Welcome Dinner on Monday evening will this year be sponsored by Eurocord Associate Members.

REGISTRATION - Please register a.s.a.p. for your stay and for any additional activities around Bardolino, Italy. Just click on the registration link here. Capacity is limited and it is on a first come/first served basis! Please note, your registration does not include a hotel room.

The extra activities are separated from the program; some of them occur at the same time of meetings, which can be an alternative for companions, though, anybody can join. Extra acitivities:

Sailing Boat - Sunday 4th June. Departing from Bardolino harbour at 16h. Itinerary of 2 hours - Garda gulf and its villas - S. Vigilio - back to Bardolino. Prosecco, water, bread sticks and taralli are included in the cruise. Attention: Height difference of 80cm to be able to get on board, not possible for those with walking problems. Only shoes with rubber soles are allowed on board

Traditional Wine Cantina Villa Calicantus - Monday 5th June (Including transport). Departing from de hotel at 16h. Meeting point: hall of the hotel. Villa Calicantus is a farmhouse where you can enjoy a good glass of wine accompanied by local or homemade products. At the end of the wine tasting you can go for a walk in the vineyards behind the villa, from where you can enjoy a spectacular view of lake Garda and the Bardolino wine area.

Olive Mill Visit and Tasting - Tuesday 6th June (Including transport). Departing from de hotel at 9h40. Meeting point: hall of the hotel. The tour lasts about 1h/1h30. It will be possible to taste extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, bread with pesto/tapenade and olive oil will be offered. Language: English.  

Verona City Tour - Tuesday 6th June (Including transport). Departing from de hotel at 14h. Meeting point: hall of the hotel. The 3 hours in Verona, the guided tour includes the Arena (Roman Amphitheatre), Juliet's house, Romeo's house, Erbe's square, the Roman theatre and much more. Language: English.

Golf - Wednesday 7th June. The players meet at 10h at Golf Club Verona (www.golfclubverona.com). The golf course is located 24 km (30 min drive) from the hotel. One of the most beautiful golf courses in north Italy, close to Lake Garda.

Check-in: 3.00 pm, Check-out: 11.00 am  Parking in the hotel garage is free of charge for guests staying at the hotel.

All guests staying at the hotel have free access to our wellness centre and spa, the indoor and outdoor pools, thermal baths, caldarium, emotional showers, frigidarium, ice waterfall, saunas, steam bath and fitness area. www.hotelcaesiusterme.com 

WEATHER
The average maximum daytime temperature in Bardolino in June lies at 25.0°C (77°F). The average minimum temperature goes down to around 14.7°C (58.46°F) (often the minimum temperature is noted at night). Rainfall during June is moderate with an average of 85mm (3.4 inches). There are generally around 11 rainy days. If you enjoy blue skies and sunshine, then this is a great time to go to Bardolino with 255 hours of sun during the entire month. June is known as one of the best months to visit Bardolino.

​DRESS CODE
Casual for all meetings. Black tie for Monday night Dinner. The dress code of black tie is optional, definitely not a request. Obviously a classical suit and a tie will not prevent anyone from participating

ELECTRICITY
In Italy the power plugs and sockets are the EU stantard plug type C/F. The standard voltage is 230 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz.

SHUTTLE SERVICES

Hotel Caesius: On request, private transfer is available to and from Verona Villafranca airport.  Books the transfer at least 24 hours before arrival.
On request, it is possible to arrange private transport also from and to other railway stations and airports. This service is subject to a fee.  

*We may hire professional service providers (photo/video/audio) to document and display the event experience. Eurocord may also post on its social media (LinkedIn), internal communication (e.g. Newsletter) and on the association’s website. By registering for and attending this event, you agree to the use of image for this purpose.  

*All tours require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation.

*Spouses or companions who register for the full convention package are entitled to attend all sessions and social activities. If he or she is employed in the industry, the full member attendee registration fee is due.

*Refunds will be made in response to a written request to the coordination on or before Friday, April 21, 2023. No-shows or cancellations requested after April 21, 2023, are not eligible for a refund.
